But I digress.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;TEXT: Change the Cursor to Help Cursor&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;3.29.3&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re on another server, the principles remain the same; it\u2019s just the way to get there will be slightly different depending on how you edit your MySQL database, most likely you will use phpMyAdmin.<\/p>\n<p>This is how to delete your comments in bulk on Cloudways:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Back up your database in case something goes wrong. (You can export it under settings, or duplicate the site using a plugin like <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=917306&amp;u=1383997&amp;m=65564&amp;urllink=&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Duplicator<\/a>, or create a clone or staging site on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cloudways.com\/en\/?id=376228\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cloudways<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>Launch your application (another word for WordPress website).<\/li>\n<li>When the application is launched, make sure you click on the Access Details on the left-hand menu (it should have defaulted there, but if not, click on it).<\/li>\n<li>On the bottom is a green button that reads: \u201cLaunch Database Manager.\u201d Click on it.<\/li>\n<li>Look for the <strong>wp_comments<\/strong> table and click on it.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u201cSelect Data\u201d link on top.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down to the bottom and check the box that reads: \u201cWhole Results\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the green Delete Button.<\/li>\n<li>Return to the table by clicking on the database name up top in the breadcrumbs menu in the blue section. (or just hit the back button a couple of times until you are in the database manager again).<\/li>\n<li>Look for <strong>wp_commentmeta<\/strong> and click on it.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat steps 6 &amp; 7.<\/li>\n<li>That\u2019s it. It adds about 50 functions to the already impressive Divi WordPress theme. Want an example?
